About Aqta

What we build

Aqta is the trust layer for AI in regulated industries. Our flagship product is AqtaCore. When an AI agent makes a consequential call in a hospital, a bank, or a legal workflow, AqtaCore issues a receipt proving what it decided, when, and with what context. Signed at runtime, verifiable offline, open spec. When that decision comes under audit or regulatory review, the receipt is proof they can check without trusting us.

The format is open and portable. The verifier runs in a browser against one published public key. You adopt a public format, not a vendor dependency. Read the open spec or run the open-source verifier against our receipts yourself. Technical details are in the research section.

Who we are

Aqta turns regulatory and risk conversations into running infrastructure: a gateway live in production since April 2026, an open attestation format, and published verifiers anyone can run. Founder-led, with advisors across cybersecurity and AI regulation and law. That is why AqtaCore produces proof someone else can verify, not a record only we can vouch for.

We speak with legal and cybersecurity teams across Europe under DORA, the EU AI Act and sector mandates. Those conversations shaped the protocol. The accountability gap is real, and you do not close it with a dashboard you control. You close it with a receipt anyone can verify without trusting you.

Public-benefit alignment sits in the protocol, not the corporate form. Every third-party verifier in the ecosystem strengthens the format without strengthening Aqta's hold on it.

The portfolio

AqtaCore is the flagship. The other products are adjacent proof: different verticals, one bet. Every one of them hands the person it serves a signed artefact they keep and can verify themselves.

The applied portfolio on the same receipts platform: AqtaBio (public-health spillover surveillance; its W19 commit flagged the correct Congo Basin biome eight days before the WHO declaration), Pulse (a signed health passport on your phone, in preview), Spectra (voice-first web access), and Testera (adaptive, accessible exam coaching). Different verticals, one accountability bet.
