Standard paragraph

Aqta is an Irish deeptech company. Seal signs a receipt for every decision that passes through it, before the action runs. Anyone can verify that record offline against a published key, without Aqta. The format is open (ATTESTATION-v1). Built in Europe.

What this does not prove

Correctness
A verified receipt proves the issuer signed those exact fields and that nothing has changed since. It does not prove the decision was right, the policy behind it sound, or the process fair.
Time
The timestamp is a value the issuer chose and signed. A verifying receipt shows the issuer signed that value, not that signing happened at that moment. Establishing when a receipt existed needs evidence outside the format.
Omission
The log shows what entered it. It does not show that nothing was left out. That needs reconciliation against a record Aqta does not produce, and it is an open problem.
The log’s own anchor
The public log is anchored at size 153. Heads pinned before that point do not chain to the current log, following an ordering defect we found and fixed on 27 August 2026. The transparency page says so and will keep saying so.

  • Aqta is the company; Seal is the product. Write both in title case, never all caps.
  • Company: “AI acts. Keep the receipt.” and “Controls for AI that hold when challenged.”
  • Seal product: “Before it acts, seal it.” and “The next generation of ‘who cleared this?’” Category noun: sealed decision.
  • Use the Aqta lockup (A + wordmark) as the company name. Use the intact Seal mark as the house crest across Aqta surfaces; cracked or tampered seal behaviour is Seal-product only. Rón (Irish for seal) is the Seal mascot: supporting art, never a logo, and never on evidence or verification results.
