Seal clears an AI request before it runs and signs a record of what was decided. You would work on the signing side and the open specification behind it: Ed25519 signing, canonical serialisation that has to produce byte-identical output in Python and TypeScript, an append-only Merkle log built to RFC 6962, and two reference verifiers kept behaviourally identical by a conformance suite. The hard part is not the cryptography. It is that the record has to survive being read by someone who has no reason to trust us.
You
- Strong in Python and TypeScript, and you like cryptography and specifications.
- You enjoy working out how things break, because most of this job is reasoning about an adversary who controls the record.
The specification is public and the verifiers are open source, so your work is visible and anyone can check it.
